- 3 cloves garlic

- 3 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped

- 2 tbsp cold-pressed groundnut oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Pinch of hing (asafoetida)
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp salt
