- Almonds: 2-3 tablespoons (chopped)
- Cashew nuts: 2-3 tablespoons (chopped)
- Chironji (charoli): 2 tablespoons
- Melon seeds: 2 tablespoons
- Raisins: 2 tablespoons
- Grated dry coconut: 3 tablespoons
- Powdered sugar: ½ cup
- Cardamom powder: ½ teaspoon
- Tulsi leaves: a few (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by coarsely grinding ½ cup of coriander seeds in a mixer jar.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 1 teaspoon of A2 cow ghee and add the ground coriander and roast on low flame until it becomes aromatic and changes colour. Transfer the roasted coriander to a plate to cool.
- In the same pan, heat another teaspoon of ghee and roast ½ cup of makhana until crunchy. Once done, transfer them to the cooling plate.
- Now, heat 2 teaspoons of A2 desi cow ghee, then add chopped almonds, cashews, chironji, melon seeds, and raisins. Roast until the nuts are golden brown. Then add grated coconut and roast briefly. Transfer this mixture also to the cooling plate.
- Once all components have cooled, mix the roasted coriander, makhana, nuts, and coconut in a large bowl.
- Add ½ cup of powdered sugar, ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder, and tulsi leaves (if using). Mix everything thoroughly until everything combined.
